Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Scale distributed applications, make architectural decisions, write efficient code, and deliver high-quality solutions.
  • Develop user-centric applications that operate 24x7, ensuring scalability, performance, and reliability.
  • Produce high-quality, unit-tested code and participate in continuous integration.
  • Provide technical leadership, drive engineering best practices, and execute large-scale programs.
  • Identify and evangelize opportunities to improve engineering productivity.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • 4+ years of industry experience in software design, development, and algorithm solutions.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript, C/C++, C#, Objective-C, Ruby, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Advanced degree (MS or PhD) in a relevant field with additional years of experience.
  • Experience designing and building infrastructure and web services at scale.
  • Expertise in computer science fundamentals, data structures, algorithms, and software design.
  • Strong coding skills in Python or JavaScript/AJAX, database design, SQL, and/or network programming.
  • Familiarity with web application development tools and technologies.
  • Experience with relational databases and distributed transaction management.
