Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enhance the existing data warehouse, exports, and reports
- Analyze and tune database queries and design to improve performance
- Assist DBA with database administration tasks
- Anticipate and devises possible solutions to application and database-related problems
- Anticipates and determines security concerns and addresses appropriately
- Tests deliverables satisfactorily and according to departmental standards prior to release
- Follows departmental standards with regard to writing clean, efficient, well-formed code
- Follows departmental standards for maintaining version control and release to production according to departmental standards
- Ensures applications, databases, and reports meet stakeholder needs
- Documents inline code according to departmental standards
- Documents design features according to departmental standards
- Is timely with deliverable releases according to business needs
- Uses appropriate tools and methodology for development
- Ensures accuracy of data
