Change Background Image of Lock Screen in Windows 8

Windows 8 allows us to either choose an image from preloaded images or add one of our own to the computer. This makes our Windows lock screen background image updatable. Steps to Change lock screen background image in Windows 8

 
Step 1
 
First of all we have to move on the Start window screen in Windows 8.

Then in the Start screen just select your Metro UI by which name you have logged in.

Now click on the user name on the right top of the screen and select the Change account picture from the drop down menu.

Ater doing that, a new User Interface will appear on the screen as shown in the following figure and just click on Lock screen.

When you click on the Lock screen tab then an interface will appear where you can select the pre-loaded image or you can upload a new image by clicking on the Browse button.

When you click on the Browse button a new window will appear; here you can select an image by browsing through your hard drive using the Go up button.

Then select an image by clicking on it and click on the choose picture button in the window.

Finally, when you have performed the above actions then your selected image will be set as the background for the lock screen.

To confirm your work just hit the Windows logo button + L button on your keyboard.
