Adobe (Listen/?'do?bi/, UK /?'do?b/, Spanish pronunciation: [a'ðoße], the Spanish word for mud brick originates from Arabic, is a building material made from earth and often organic material. Adobe buildings are similar to cob and rammed earth buildings. Adobe is among the earliest materials used throughout the world.
