This report helps the JIRA user by displaying the issue resolved time in the form of a bar chart report. On the report the user can view the report and can review the resolution status of issues.
Generating a "Resolution Time" report
To generate a "Resolution Time" report:
- Click on the Projects dropdown, at the top of the navigation bar; the Categories under the dropdown will be displayed.
- Click on the project that you want to browse or click on "View All Projects"; the user will be able to view the list of all projects in your JIRA account.
- Click on the "Reports" dropdown on the right of the page and click on the "Resolution Time Report" from the drop down menu.
The Resolution Time Report window will open.
- Click on the "Select Filter or Project" link. The Filter or Project picker window will open.
- Select the project or issue filter that you want to choose. You will then be returned to the form.
- In the "Period" field, select the time-frame on which the "Resolution Time" report will be based e.g. Hourly, Daily, Weekly, Quarterly and Yearly.
- Inside the "Days Previously" TextBox, enter the number of days worth of data that has to be included in the report.
