Types of Recovery Operations in QTP in Testing

You can instruct Quick Test to recover from unexpected events and errors that occur in your testing environment during a run session. Recovery Scenario Manager provides a wizard that guides you through the process of defining a recovery scenario. The Recovery Scenario Manager Dialog Box provides the ability to create or edit recovery files and this dialog box creates and manages recovery scenarios.

The recovery scenario operations screen enables us to manage the collection of recovery operations in the recovery scenario. Recovery operations are operations that Quick Test performs sequentially when it recognizes the trigger event.

You can select the Recovery Scenario wizard through the link Resources > Recovery Scenario Manager.
