  I tried your code but perhaps I do not know enough to know how to put it all together. It does not work for me. The demo however does the same as my code; neither do anything. Or perhaps I do not understand what I am supposed to do. Are we supposed to just use the up, down, left and right keys? Nothing happens when I do.

    The only reason i can think of is either you are using an IE or Mozilla. The above code works only in latest version of chrome browser. For IE and Mozilla, replace the "-webkit-" prefix with "-ms-" and "-moz-" respectively.

    Yes it works in Chrome. Perhaps the article should have said that but at least it does now in the comments.
