Viewing multiple Images in GDI+ and VB.NET

  i have been using mousewheel for zoom in/out function. but when i click on text box having scrool the mousewheel does not perform zoom in/out function after returning to form. it continues performing scrool of text box. how can i solve this problem??? thanking you in advance.

    thanks for the reply. actually i am using g.draw functions to draw figures directly on form. no image is there. so here i need to transfer control to form, is it? and how is it exactly done.

    On mouse wheel event, try to select the control that has zoom in and zoom out functionality (Image control?). It will unselect the text box. Any control that is selected currenctly recieves the default events.

  iam not getting what u said but iam trying this problem since 1 week but no progress this is my requirement i need to draw some shapes on image in form i completed that task now my problem is how to create events to that particular shapes like when i click that fillellipse shape color must be changed and tooltop must say what i done in execution time can u plase guide me waht to do

    Shapes do not have events in C#. You will have to redraw the images and shapes and change whatever you want. So if you code is on Paint event handler, you will have to force the whole form to repaint again using Refresh method of Form or some other events. If you know about Contatiners, you can restrict form's repaint to specific controls only. I have GDI+ book on Containers and paths. If you can buy it, buy it otherwise it will be too much work to type here ;)

  hai this is madhu iam working on images but i have to draw some shapes on that image and should be able to change the color of shapes in runtime when i click that paricular shape can u please help me its urgent thanks in advance

    It should be pretty simple. On your Form's Paint event handler, you create your shapes. Prior to that, you define the Color objects for your shapes and create these color objects based on the user input. You may use a ColorPicker control to pick the color. See Graphics section of this site for code samples and controls.
