I have followed those steps but I am getting the below error. I did not understand the Solution. Application Pool service account is added into database as db_owner role. Am I missing anything? An unhandled exception was generated during the execution of the current web request. Information regarding the origin and location of the exception can be identified using the exception stack trace below.

  after following the new steps, now the user is avaiable for the search, but the FBA site collection is giving the same error which there in the 2nd screen shot at login of that site.

  at the FBA site, at login page if we are choosing the windows mode then too we are getting the error which is in the 2 nd screenshot. so we are not able to check the windows authentication too. Pls help us in this issue.

  hi, claim based authentication is working fine thanking u for ur support. it was some other problem that was giving the trouble that has be rectified. only one last doubt that i am having is: the configuration is working perfectly in the stand alone server, when i configured this on to the farm it the user was not found. so i guest in the connection string it is finding difficultly in recognizing the database server so how to specify the database server name which is in the farm.

  Thank you Ravi..... I have done lot of research in claims. I have configured SharePoint 2010 forms with LDAP, SQL and ADLDS.LDAP is somewhat easy but other two take some time. So I thought it is nice to share the details with the troubles/Error I got. Most of the authors not explaining about how they resolved the issues they faced. SharePoint with ADLDS, I publish soon as ,I didn’t find any article explaining this
