  Nice but VOIP SDK included is TRIAL version. It will stop working and ask you to pay.

  Hi Csilla. I just need to use the registration part of the process for a Server Monitoring project. Do I still need to pay the ozeki license? Is there another method for that?

  Hi Csilla, great article and I was trying to implement the code, While registering my new SIP Account I provided my Voip's Current IP and port number stated in the Multicast Address but the RegState is RegistrationRequested always why is it not showing RegistrationSucceeded.

  very interesting article indid. As astudent learning programing and having a VoIP softphone project, i decided to try this example and also to learn more about Voip SIP as per the project. now i would like to get help on how to get register data to main form. i decided to creat pop up windows to get other Info like Codecs to main.     You can use those labels as I did, or, of course you can use textbox, if you want to show the phone state. The actal states are set according to the call.CallState property that gets its value from the CallState enum. You can use these states to distinguish between the actions according to the states. My program uses labels as this was the easiest way for me, but I think a textbox may be useful for the dialed numbe, for example. I do not see though why you want to use a textbox for showing the call states, but it is, of course possible. I hope I could answer your question.

    If I understand your comment well, this example does something like you want by having a pop-up window for the reg data. Make sure you have given the right data on the form and parsed it well when reading them. I also have to add a notification to this post as the Ozeki SDK had a major chane in the last versions. You cannot make instances of Microphone and Speaker object as it is in the program I attached. You need to call Microphone.GetDefaultDevice() or Microphone.GetDevices() methods (and the same for the speaker). The first if for getting the default or the only one mic and speaker, with the second you can get a list of all available audio devices and you can choose among them. You can also change the used device during run time if you extend the program. Thank you for commenting. If I can help you with anything, feel free to ask.

    hi Csilla thanks for the reply, i manage to change the access private to public and it worked. with the speaker and mic object i used the GetdefaultDevices method as i wanted to detect the computer device. one thing i'm not clear is the use of lables to get the status of the phone, if is that so, can i change that through a textBox like in this example: InvokeGUIThread(() => { label2.Text = "Incoming call"; label5.Text = String.Format("from {0}", e.Item.DialInfo); call = e.Item; WireUpCallEvents(); inComingCall = true; }); thanks michaels
