hii nicee article,but i hav one small question if u drag and drop same city twoo times its drop in second listbox.but i want if i drag same city two times its displayy message (its already in listt u want to replace )how itss do will u plzz tell me??

  you can apply validation on ListBoxB_Drag_Drop event like this: private void listBoxB_DragDrop(object sender, DragEventArgs e) { if (listBoxB.Items.Contains("")) { string ReturnId = MessageBox.Show("its already in list u want to replace ", "MessageBox", MessageBoxButtons.YesNo, MessageBoxIcon.Question).ToString(); switch (ReturnId) { case "Yes": listBoxB.Items.Add(e.Data.GetData(DataFormats.Text).ToString()); break; case "No": e.Cancel = false; break; } } else { listBoxB.Items.Add(e.Data.GetData(DataFormats.Text).ToString()); } } thanks
