Hi Mike, Thanks for the comment , yes I agree with you that now days Microsoft is suggesting ways to do more using Powershell scripts and not using stsadm commands. but article just shows concept that how you can create your custom commands (If you need those) and If you are not that much familiar with extending powershell framework. but of course depends on choice of individual that which options he or she want to go with. I think it is worth saying that extending STSADM.EXE has been deprecated, which means that Microsoft says that new extensions should not be developed. Right?
