How To Take Backup Of The Dataverse Environment?

Pre-Requisites

1. Click on the below article link and create a Microsoft Edge or Google Chrome Profile. Create a Profile in Microsoft Edge and Google Chrome.
2. Click on the below article link to create Power Apps Trial and the Dataverse Environment. Create Microsoft Power Apps 30 days Online Trial Version.

Follow the below steps after the Prerequisites.

Step 1. Login into Power Platform Admin Center (PPAC) using your credentials.

Click on the link for Power Apps US Government Service URLs.

Step 2. Select the required Environment to take the backup. For example, I am taking backup of the Development Environment.

Step 3. Click on the Backups button and Click on Create.

Step 4. Provide proper Labels and Notes, and click on Create.

Step 5. Once the Back Up is created successfully, you can see the below message.

Step 6. Click on See your backups to verify your created backup.

Also, you can check the backups by Clicking on Restore or Manage under Backups.

All the backups created for the respective environment can be seen here.
