    Syntax is "is" and "is not" use that, and I will mail you doc for the same.

    Sourabh Somani in or not in as well as is and is not are same things now, if you will go through documentation of Python 3.3 and above you can see both are equal. For more details you can visit: https://docs.python.org/3.6/reference/expressions.html

    Sourabh Somani You are right, I mixed up two different concepts. According to documentation in some scenarios they are equal else they have to be treated different, I will correct this right away and thanks for pointing out the mistake :)
