  If we use public variable instead of private string MyBikeColor then it will also work fine. So can you tell me that what is the need to use properties ? Actually i'm not able to understand the same difference.

    thanks for reading my article. you are right we can use public variable as well. but we have to protect our data from unauthorized access out side the class that is why we have to use private variable
