Mathematics 4: Statistics

Welcome to the fourth mathematics session for the AI42 series where we will be jumping into statistics! We will start from basic statistical methods of central tendencies and how these can and can't describe data.

We will progress to understanding correlation and whether or not we can determine causation. As we go through this session we will also start to see how statistics ties together with probabilities - the topic of our last session. As this is the second to last mathematics session of the series we are starting to see the full picture of the kind of mathematics required in data science and machine learning.
