Prerequisites

  2. You have already created your target Data Science Windows 2016 Virtual Machine on Azure Portal.

Let's begin the fun.

Step 1

Create your target Azure Data Science Windows 2016 Virtual Machine on your Microsoft Azure paid subscription account.

Step 2

Login to Microsoft Azure portal and you will be able to see your dashboard.

Step 3

Click on your "Azure Data Science Windows 2016 Virtual Machine" from your dashboard, as shown below.

Now, click "Connect" on your VM's Overview page.

From the above screen, you have the connection information to access your Data Science Windows 2016 Virtual Machine. Copy your machine's public IP address.

Step 5

Go to your machine's Start menu and click "Run" command or use the shortcut key "Windows button + R" to make the "Run" window appear, as shown below.

Step 6

Now, type "mstsc" on the Run window.

In "Remote Desktop Connection" window, type your data science virtual machine's IP Address and click "Connect", as shown below.

In the next window, type your administration credentials which you have set up during the installation of your data science VM and click "OK".

When your connection is successful, the following window will appear. Click "Yes", as shown below.
