This is very bad to know that now money making private universities or
institutions who exist for generating revenue only are free hold from AICTE
norms. I think it will very badly impact our education standards and
quality.
Apex court must have to think before freeing these degree
sellers from AICTE norms. Huge no of private universities are already
generating so much revenue by selling technical degrees. Now they will come
in full swing by this judgement and advertise very smartly to lure
students/public to sell more degrees. I think there is more competition in
these private universities rather than well educated professionals!!!
Please be careful. If you or or your brother/sister or your any known is going into word of these sellers, please advice them. Now a days employers are enough intelligent they understand and judge your ability and qualifications. Please avoid to take admission in those institutions who don't fulfill AICTE norms until government or honorable supreme court don't give us an equal governing body. Though AICTE is going to file a review petition against this verdict.
More details has been already well written by my RTI activist friend Govind on his blog, so I am not going to rewrite all those. You can refer it - http://simplygovind.blogspot.in/2013/04/aicte-approval-is-not-required-for-mba.html
I just blogged 10 days before "Will
Distance Mode Education Affect my Career" in which I mentioned that
AICTE recognition is required for technical courses.

When the Education system becomes a business, it's not education anymore, its business. In a business, there is only one goal. How to make more money. That's a shame.
