In this article you will see applying blur to a part of an image using  Microsoft PowerPoint. Follow the below steps to blur the portion of an image.
 
 Step 1 - Take the photograph in PowerPoint.

 Step 2 
 Choose the area which needs to be blurred and insert rectangular shape on it (may  be different shapes as required).

 Step 3 - Right click on the shape and go to Format Shape,

 Step 4 - Fill > Solid Fill > choose White (The colour may be different as shoots to the  picture),

 Step 5 - Give transparent effect as required,

 Step 6 - In the same menu, go to Line Color and choose No Line,

 Step 7 - When everything is done, choose the photograph and all the shapes on it.

 Step 8 - Right Click > Group. Then Right Click and Copy,

 Step 9 - Select Photograph > Go to Home > Paste > Choose Paste Special,

 Step 10 - Choose any one format to paste,

 Step 11 - Now, It’s done.. you can use the photograph in by pasting in the word file.
