Steps to create a custom permission level in SharePoint 2013
  • Open your SharePoint Online Site Gear then select Click Site Settings > Site Permissions > Permission Levels.

  • Click on the Add a Permission Level item-->Enter a name for the permission level and customize the permission items.

  • Then Select the Checkbox for which permission do you need to assign the group.

  • Click the Submit button to create the permission level. You will see the new permission level in the returning page.
