2. June 08 to 23rd October, 2008 M/s Alpine HCC JV, Delhi

Geologist in M/s Hindustan Construction Company Limited,Delhi, India for their Airport Metro Express Line C6 Project in Delhi, India

Client: Delhi Metro Rail Corporation

The Airport Metro Express Line comprises about 22KM long high speed connection from New Delhi Railway Station to Indira Gandhi International Airport on both subsurface and elevated track. Construction method includes NATM tunnels, TBM tunnel Cut & Cover stretches and open stretches.

Ø The NATM part of the project is awarded to Alpine HCC-JV which includes two numbers of vertical shaft (Construction & Ventilation) each 26m depth. The NATM tunnel starts from Talkatora Garden at chainage 3861 and ends at Budha Jayanti Park at chainage 6293 i.e. 2432 m long

Ø The Cut & Cover portion is also awarded to Alpine HCC JV which will merge on Switch over ramp having length 800m.

Contract Value: 300 crores

Nature of work:-

· Geological and geotechnical investigation of the project.

· Borehole Logging and water pressure test.

· Making of DPR (Detailed Project Report)

· Proposal and preparation of geotechnical instruments like pressure cells etc.

· Soil and rock investigation program.

· Geological logging of the project area.

Ø Received silver medal U.P. Government (Education Minister) for securing highest marks in B.Sc. III Year.

Ø Stood First in Poster Competition on Ecology held by C.B.S.E.

Ø Received Rs. 1000 from the U.P. Government (Education Minister) for securing highest marks in Geology (2007).

Ø Participated in “LIVE DEMONSTRATION OF CIVIL DEFENSE AND DISASTER MANAGEMENT”, organized by Ministry of Disaster Management of U.P. Government.
