The metro-style app is a new concept introduced in Windows 8. You can use
Visual Studio 11 Beta to build Metro style apps using any supported language
such as C#, Visual Basic .NET, C++, and JavaScript. Let's not forget the now
Blend supports HTML 5.
So, what do you need to build a metro style app? Well here is
the list.
Once you have all these ready, you can use either Visual Studio
11 or Blend to build your metro style app.
Windows Store is the gateway to register and sell your metro
style apps. Windows 8 comes with Windows Store similar to Apple iTunes where
you can register, upload and start selling your apps.
