How to claim SQL Space After Deleting Sharepoint Contents

SQL space not released even after deleting contents from SharePoint. You can claim this space by shrinking SharePoint database.

Steps to claim your unused space in SQL,

Run the Management Studio and connect to your SQL Server.
Expand “Databases” and select your database
Right Click it, select Tasks –> Shrink –> Files
In the new window select Release unused space and click OK.
