How to Enable SharePoint Spaces in Modern Sites

Introduction

This blog will help enable SharePoint Spaces in modern sites.

Currently, the feature is in Preview mode but will be released for all tenants soon.

To Enable SharePoint Spaces in your site collection, please follow the below steps.

Note

This feature works with SharePoint Modern Site Collection and is available currently for targeted.

Go to SiteCollection Settings.

Select the Manage Site Feature:

Enable the feature Named Spaces (Preview):

Go back to Site Collection Home Pages and click on the + New. This would open the dropdown:

Select Space (Preview) to create a new SharePoint Space. Currently, we have 4 different Structures:

We change the background of the new Sharepoint Space:

Currently, we can add 9 different types of objects:

We can use Spaces in Multiple VR structures and can create 3D catalogs as well.
