Are you constantly entering your TFS Login Credentials when opening a project from Visual Studio 2010. If so, here are the steps to persist those credentials.

  1. Open Windows 7 Control Panel -> User Accounts -> Credential Manager.
  2. Add a new Windows Credentials in the Stored Accounts for Automatic Login.
  3. Enter the TFS server name.
  4. Enter the User Name (Domain\UserName).
  5. Enter the Password.

Now when the project is opened in Visual Studio 2010 you will be automatically logged in to source control.
