Around 95% companies choose native apps. because html5 apps doesn't provide best user experience like touch and swipe. Rest choose html5 due to less development cost and its easy to port html5 app to other mobile platform.

Good blog. Many companies including Facebook started their iOS app using HTML5 but then it didn't work out that well and switched to native apps.
