Today, Microsoft made several major announcements at VS Connect() event. One of the announcement came from S. Somasegar was renaming of .NET Framework.
Current .NET Framework version is 4.5 and it will be followed by .NET 2015, not .NET 5.0.

wonderful! confusing enough that it can host a jeopardy segment on the different tool names and versions :) at least recruiters can't ask for someone with minimum 3 yrs experience on .net 2015 in next Jan :-D
