I have created a SharePoint 2013 team site; in the
document library I was not able to see the Popularity Trends option in the
ribbon interface as shown in the following figure.
This is because Reporting feature was not activated in the site collection level. Go to Site Settings, click on Site collection features under Site Collection Administration section. Activate the Reporting feature now you can be able to see the Popularity Trends option in the document library interface.

Can you please specify type of site that you are using like Team site, Developer site like that. i am having team site as well as developer site with me, in both the site Reporting feature is available. i tested for SharePoint Online as well. both team site and developer site is having Reporting feature active.

Hi Amber, In my case too most popular items tab missing for list. If you found could you please tell me how to get that tab?

After enabling "Reporting" feature "Popularity trend" is available for Library Item but it is still missing for List Items. Do I need to enable any other feature?
