Power BI Page Level Styling

In this blog, we will see how to make styling changes to a page in Power BI Report. You can change the size of the page, set background colors, and wallpaper color or image easily.

Let’s see how we can do this.

Note
The below steps are applicable to both Power BI desktop applications as well as Power BI services (online).

Open Power BI desktop application >> Create a new Report or open your existing .PBIX file.

Make sure none of the charts are selected OR click somewhere outside the chart as shown below >> then on the right side, you see the accordion menu to configure Page level styling.

You will see four options to configure
  1. Page Information – This includes Page Title, tooltip and Q&A settings
  2. Page Size – This helps you to choose the size of a page
  3. Page Background – Set background color or image
  4. Wallpaper – Set background color or image to whole page the area outside the page as well.
Let’s see what kind of Page sizes we can choose. As shown below you can choose page sizes like 16:9 (default), 4:3, Cortana, Letter, Tooltip (this is used if you want to show one chart as the tooltip of another chart – we will see more detail in another blog), and custom.
