How to upgrade from Windows 7 Professional to Windows 7 Ultimate

Some Windows 7 versions come with Windows Anytime Upgrade feature that upgrade your current Windows 7 version to a higher version.

Note: You can upgrade the following versions to Windows 7 Ultimate using Windows Anytime Upgrade feature.

  • Windows 7 Starter
  • Windows 7 Home Premium
  • Windows 7 Professional

Here are the steps to start Windows Anytime Upgrade.

  1. Click on Start button and type Windows Anytime Upgrade in the search box
  2. Click Windows Anytime Upgrade in the list of results

  3. Select Enter an Upgrade Key and follow the instructions to finish the upgrade.
