Introduction
Yet 29 Feb, at Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, Microsoft released the Windows 8 consumer preview and shortly thereafter the Visual Studio 11 beta. Those who attended the MVP Summit 2012 in-person were lucky, they got USB drives with the installer software. But for the rest of us, especially for those of us in India where we have unscheduled power cuts, power failures and so on, it's best to go for an ISO installer. Download preferably with a tool/utility that allows you to resume download in case of power cuts. I personally use the DAP tool, it's handy for me.
