Your client does not support opening this list with Windows Explorer

Lets assume a scenario, where we try to open a document library in "Open with Explorer " option and you get the error message
"Your client does not support opening this list with Windows Explorer"
 
The possible reason could be WebClient Service. Please ensure that you have Internet explorer  7 or above.
 
Steps
 
  1. Go to Administrative Tools, and click Services.
  2.  right-click WebClient, and click Properties.
  3. In the Startup type , click Automatic.
  4. Click Apply.
  5. In the Service status section, click Start.
  6. Click OK.
