GetType() - Gets the System.Type of the current instance.

Tostring() - Returns a string that represents the current object

Hi,

GetType() - It gives the information about the which type of object the variable is.

Ex-

string s ="Pawan";

Type t = s.GetType();

Its return the type of variable s which is of System.String type.

ToString() -

Its is used to convert the a object in string type. Its gives error if conversion fail.

GetType() and ToString()

GetType() - Get the Type of the Data

ToString() - Which will convert the value to string value.

I beleive, that ToString() not calls theGetType() internally
