hii , i am developing a s/w in which i have to use marathi font like shivagi . Means my user want to enter data in marathi language. When i used shivagi font , and when i write query and try to give alias for column names it gives me syntax error . My backend is Ms-Access..
eg..
SELECT MusterDb_Treatment_Category_Master.TreatCat_ID AS [ ]pcaar kaoD], MusterDb_Treatment_Category_Master.Category_Desc AS [ ]pvaar vaga-vaarIcao naava] FROM MusterDb_Treatment_Category_Master
for Treatment category id i must used ]pccar kaoD string.
if any other ways to used special characters in queries please send me urgently..

I wrote query "Select MusterDb_Family_Member.Member_Name AS vya@tIcao naava from MusterDb_Family_Member";
But while I fire query it gives error like
The SELECT statement includes a reserved word or an argument name that is misspelled or missing, or the punctuation is incorrect.
In query I used some special character like @ or ' so how can I manage this characters.
Because the output of this query is in marathi language.

Why dont you use Resource files?? Why do you want to embed Local Language as the alias to the queries!! if you go with this design it may not scale...
Please tell what you are trying to do from requirements point of view so that we can guide in right direction.

when i m writing any word in my local language that word contains symbols like #,] ,[ . I am using grid view control for displaying data. and i want to use alias for columns of that grid.
