add data dynamically to an item ina listview.

Hi,

Can I add data to an item of listview dynamically.
say, I had a listview with 10 items,each item having details image,personname,emailid.

If I want to send a notification (such as a message,call) or I want to add some text to a particular item dynamically or from code behind.Is this possible.
