Adding an icon to my release exe using .msi install wizard

I finally figured it out.  Right click on the Desktop and Program menu files.  Then create shortcuts to the primary output in the application folder for each.  Edit the name appropriately and add the icon in the properties menu for each.

Dis you re-check whether you had set the icon to shortcut or exe or add or remove program? Alternatively you can order your exe to load from the existing path of exe at runtime
