Adding progress bar in C# windows application

Hi,

 

I am a beginner in coding, My previous team developed a C# windows application tool for migrating Sharepoint 2003 Teamsite to Sharepoint 2010. Now the tool should be added with a progress bar to show the status of migration progress, I have added the option "Progress bar" from Visual studio toolbox. How i can link these progress bar to the migration process ? Please help.
