Perhaps the administrators of this site can fix the site so it does not show Twitter and Facebook but that will not fix the problem for other sites too. A better solution would be for your employer's network administrators to get more accurate reporting software. This is often how software works; there is often more complexity required for software than first appears. Perhaps members of this community can help to improve your employer's software so that the software can determine that navigation to another site is done by the site being browsed.

Your network administrators should know about the hosts file and other administrative network things. They could block access to sites such as Facebook and Twitter. I don't know what you think of the idea but you could suggest that. Then if this or any other web site has a problem with that, then it is reasonable to request that the web site be modified to work when access to Facebook and Twitter are blocked.

Of course, there are valid uses of Facebook and Twitter that can be beneficial for you employer.

Hi Pravin,

I am not Admin, but what i can say is C# Corner has facebook plugins on the page and when you visit this site that request is sent to facebook thereby making an entry in your log that a facebook request was sent from your PC but actually its the plugin in the website.

Admin can talk more about this and i do not know how to prevent that.
