In your project, use "Add Reference" and click "COM" tab. From this tab, select ActiveX Data Objects 2.6 Library and say OK. Now you will have a new namespace ADODB in your project. Now simply use this namespace and you will see all the members, classes, and interfaces available in your VS.NET intellisense. See ADO.NET section of c-sharpcorner.com and look for using ADO with C# by Mahesh Chand. It's in C# but same method applies to VB.NET.
