age range validation

I have a website form in which i want to create age validation on date of birth textbox ,

this is age eligibility

this is format

General man - 01/01/1980 - 01/01/1997

sc/st/obc/stc - 01/01/1975 - 01/01/1997

divorce women- No upper age limit & born upto 01/01/1997

handicapped General man - 01/01/1970 - 01/01/1997

handicapped OBC - 01/01/1967 - 01/01/1997

handicapped SC/ST - 01/01/1965 - 01/01/1997

For client side validation, I'd suggest you use the following javascript function:

i distinguish type in the form by dropdown , in it i have a category dropdown , and i want client side validation.

can you explain in more details like what type of validation implement server side or client side.

How you are distinguishing the type in the form e.g. General,sc,divorce...
