Android Phone App - Where to Begin

I am looking to to start developing apps. Where to begin. Can someone lead me in the right direction? Provide helpful tutorial links to developing android apps.

Yea...you can use knockout.js for MVVM purpose, you can also look at other popular one Angular.js (I'm big fan of this)

do you want to build app for any particular platform ex- windows , android, iOS? or it should work for all platforms

if all then look for PhoneGap? you can create app in html5, javascript and phonegap it to work on any platform

at c#corner there are good tutorial for Phonegap

Sorry for replying so late I want to build a hybrid based app. Where do I start? I have visual studio 2013.

google is flooded with tutorial on android apps, now do you want to develop native, hybrid or browser based app?

if you want clarity on these first, then look for an article posted at C#corner website stating difference among these three.
