Angular 5 data passing

Hi Nithi,

1. You cannot use input and output decorator for components which doesn't have parent child releationship.

2. You can use services any where, either its show any relationship (parent-child) or not.

3. Service Example :

//created service and inside it write a method "getStudentList()" which fetches data from server side.
@Injectable()
export class StudentService {
studentList: Student[];
constructor(private _httpClient: HttpClient) { }
getStudentList(classId: any): Observable {
return this._httpClient.get('http://localhost:4200/getStudentRecord'
+ classId).pipe(
tap(data=>{ this.studentList=data })
)
}
}

Consume service in component file

//first inject your service name in provider property inside component decorator function @Component(){};
//create an instance of that service inside the constructor
constructor(private student: StudentService) {
this.getStudentList();
}
this.studentList =[];
getStudentList() {
this.student.getStudentList(10) //on the basis of instance call service method
.subscribe(res => this.SuccessGet(res), res => this.ErrorGet(res));
}
SuccessGet(data: any) {
this.studentList = data;
}
ErrorGet(data: any) {
console.log("Error");
}
