Any software for android which allows to share Computer Internet Connection to phone via USB

You might heard that you can use your phone modem to connect to the internet to PC.

But my requirement is reverse.

Any software for android which allows to share Computer Internet Connection to phone via USB.

I don't want to use any GPRS plan.
I don't want to use WIFI. (only from USB connction )
I am using android 2.2 ( Samsung Ace )

Can any one help me.. ?

That "Android Usb Port Forwarding" appears to me to be something I will not use. It uses USB Debugging and ohter development tools. I will use those tools for development but I am skeptical of doing that for non-development stuff.

@ Sam Hobbs : reason behind not use wifi... because at home , i have desktop pc w/o WirelessLan card. so... ( I go for buying USB WIFI 4 that )

It might be possible to connect the phone to the router. Do you think that is possible? I might somne day look if there is a way to convert a USB connection to an Ethernet connection or something like that.

Contact your network provider and ask for dongle internet connection.

Why don't you want to use WiFi? Is it because USB is faster? I am not sure that USB is faster but it makes sense that it is. I use WiFi for my Droid X and WiFi seems fast enough. I also would prefer to use a USB connection but I sure have not heard of anything like that. There are many things like that that seem to be useful but are unavailable. It is strange.

Since this is not a programming question, have you tried asking in a forum for Android?
