People are already panicking. How bad is the situation? Can someone give me the exact picture?

I think Suchitra's question was more about the recession in general and not specific to any industry, do you have any inputs on the same?

Thanks,

As can be seen from the crisis in the Euro zone, the situation is not that good globally. But there is not much to worry about for the IT industry as of now. Yesterday itself Economic Times published that IT industry growth has remained steady in the last quarter. Infosys too grabbed quite a few new clients. Also some analysts have written in last 1-2 months, that this time industry is well prepared for the recession if at all it comes, also it will not be that that worse as it was back in 2008.
Do not get panicked with the rumours, global economy will soon get stable.
