asp.net core date from json is displayed incorrectly in jquery

I get data from a json procedure but when I display a Date value I get different format

$("#duedatep").html(data.woPlannerSCH.dueDateP);

What I want is

3/17/2021 6:40:00 PM

What I get is

2021-03-17T18:40:00

How do I fix that?

There are thousands of ways
the easiest one is
function getDateFormatted(date1){
var date = new Date(Date.parse(date1));
return date.getDate() + "-" + date.getMonth() + "-" + date.getFullYear()+" " +date.substr(11, 2);;
}
$("#duedatep").html(getDateFormatted(data.woPlannerSCH.dueDateP));
Note:- i have not tested the time

I managed to use this
var date2 = new Date(data.woPlannerSCH.dueDateP);
$("#duedatep").val(date2.toLocaleString());

the only thing I don't like is that it puts a comma after date

So a separate function, I thought it may be a much simpler way. I will try it
