Asp.net for sending mail of attach file without browse

Hello,

I have to send mail with attachment without browse file is alread exist in a folder. Please tell me how can i send. if you have any code please share with me.

There is no issue in code.it's issue on file permission from server. check whether you gave the permission for iuser for respective folder file.

You need to make sure that the file is available at some location on the server and that location should be accessible to the application. Also you need to change the code to access that path from the server to get the file for the attachment.

You can also store your file at some stored location which is accessible by your application.

If you want your application to locate the file on the client computer then I don't think that is possible. As code running the server can not access the file on the client machine. You need to send file information to the server using `httppostedfilebase` class.

Hi Sumit,

Convert file to Bytearray and make it in Memorystream. Then add the memorystream and typeofcontent in Attachement.

attachment = new System.Net.Mail.Attachment(memorystream, contenttype);
mail.Attachments.Add(attachment);

may be that pdf file does not exist in your server folder
