Try with below code:

Use DataBound property in gridview and following code

Protected void GridView1_DataBound(object sender, EventArgs e)
{
// if(e.Row.Cells[2].Text == "")
   if (GridView1.Rows.Count == 1)
   {
      GridView1.Rows[0].Visible = false;
   }
}

Hi,

Try this..

Add the index number inside [ ] in rows or Columns..!!

Code :

dataGridView1.Columns[1].Visible = false;
dataGridView1.Rows[1].Visible = false;
