it is important to compile the Asp.net application because without compilation you can not be use it,

if you not compile the application then

You can no be host application.
your code should not be bugg free.
The Dll is not created..
means in a short without compilation the application is not developed and used

their are lots of network protocol according to use that SMTP,FTP,HTTP,TCP/IP and so on
