Asp.net textbox date mode to dd-mm-yyyy

Question

Is there a way to change the default asp.net textbox TextMode='Date' display from mm-dd-yyyy to dd-mm-yyyy ? thanks for any help.

try this on server side DateTime theDate=DateTime.ParseExact(TextBox1.Text, "yyyy-MM-dd", System.Globalization.CultureInfo.InvariantCulture); string dateToInsert=theDate.ToString("dd-MM-yyyy"); or you can use date picker also $(function() { $( "#datepicker" ).datepicker({dateFormat: "dd-mm-yyyy"}); }); https://jqueryui.com/datepicker/

Hi Ankit, thanks for the prompt reply. Sorry if I didn't make myself clear. I'm not fetching data from the database. What I am asking is during input. Our location is in Laos and the users are not comfortable with the default format of MM/dd/yyyy. They are asking for the format dd/MM/yyyy during input of the date. I would appreciate so much if you could point me to the right forum. Thanks again.
