Associate and Sr. Associate

In couple Bpo Companies for software developemnet division they are giving Job title as "Associative " or "Sr. Assoictive" it is relative to the software Development? will we accept that job offer Job Title as "Associative" or "Sr. Associative"? will the software develop companies reconize it as Software Development career ?

Hi ,

As Nilesh mentioned, it doesent matter what designation you are getting. Important thing here to look is whether you are actual getting development job or not. Take a look at your work.

I think the designation should not matter much. It's the profile or type of work you do matters.

I say this because for exapmle if you are given a job title "Manager" or "Project Lead" but you are not in actual managerial role, and do entirely different work then this designation will not help you in any way for finding your next job.

so instead of letting go an offer only becuase of designation, look at other things - work profile, future growth possibility, etc.
